The Rollingwood Waves is a summer league swim team open to children ages 4 – 17 of members in good standing with the Western Hills Athletic Club. Sorry, non-members are not eligible to participate.

 Ride the Waves!

By swimming with the Rollingwood Waves, your child will be given the opportunity to participate in an exciting and fun-filled swim season.  In addition to learning the basic 4 strokes, swimmers are encouraged to participate in team building special events including Fun Fridays, ice cream socials, a Barton Springs field trip, etc.

Volunteer Registration will open on Saturday, March 24th at 9:00am

 Meet Results: Click on the meet below for results. You can also get the Live Results app for either iPhone or Android and see meet results during the meet. Add the meet manually in the app, the url is the same as in the results like below. It has to be exact or it won't take. Results are only live for meets held at Rollingwood. For away meets, results will be available in this format once we have received the database from the other team. The url for each meet is the address you see when you click on the meet results link below.

Rollingwood Gets the Best Head Coach in Texas ! 

Whitney Hedgepeth returns for the 2011 season! There is no doubt her experience places her not only as the best coach in Austin , but probably in the entire state of Texas . Whitney is no stranger to the Rollingwood swim team as her daughter Dakota (11) and son Sage (9) are members of the Rollingwood Waves and have been for years.

27 Time All-American in college competing for Florida and the University of Texas

7 Time National Champion in 7 different events: 100 & 200 Backstroke, 200 & 400 IM, 200 & 500 Freestyle and 100 Fly

5 Time NCAA Champion: 200 Back (twice) 200 Free Relay, 200 Medley Relay

American Record Holder in 200 Yard Backstroke – 1992-2001

1988 Olympian 200 IM – 8th

1996 Olympian – 100 Backstroke SILVER, 200 Backstroke SILVER, and 400 Medley Relay - GOLD

In addition, she has been the Director and National Team Coach at Texas Aquatics (now Longhorn Aquatics), the Head Masters Coach at Austin Aquatics and is currently the Head Masters Coach at Longhorn Aquatics where she has been since 2004. She was elected to the Longhorn Women's Hall of Honor in 2007.

She ran the Pikes Peak Marathon in 2005 and claims to have been dizzy ever since and is a neat freak and dessert lover.
