The Western Hills Athletic Club is offering a lifeguard course to the public. Successful completion of the course will result in American Red Cross certification in Lifeguard Training / First Aid and CPR / AED for Lifeguards.
Students must complete an approximately 6-7 hour online portion of the class before the in-class session. The online portion does not need to be completed in one sitting. You can save your progress and start back where you left off. Upon completion, you will print out your completion certificate and bring it to class.
There is not a scheduled lunch break during the day. Students in the class will need to bring any lunch/snack they wish to consume during the class.

The class will be a blended learning course in which half the course will be online (participants finish the online before the water portion is done). PLEASE INPUT THE EMAIL ADDRESS THE LINK TO DO THE ONLINE PORTION NEEDS TO BE SENT TOO.
All participants must be at least 15 years old to participate in the class. A prerequisite skills test will be given at the beginning of the water portion of the class. It will include:
WATER PORTION WILL BE HELD Tuesday, June 18, and Wednesday, June 19 starting at 10 am.
Cost of the course is $220 a person and includes all required materials for the course. Class size is limited to 10 people at this time with a minimum of 4 participants for class.
