2026 Season Info
Welcome to the 2026 Rollingwood Waves summer swim team! We are excited about the upcoming season and have lots of fun things planned this year. Here are some important things to know about Waves this year:
PRESEASON CLINICS AND PRIVATE LESSONS
We will have preseason tune up clinics for three weeks beginning Monday, March 30. Clinics will run weekly either two or three days per week from 4:00pm to 4:30pm (8 and under) and 4:30pm – 5:15pm (9 and over). Sign up for one week or all three! These are a great way for new swimmers to get a taste of what the team and practices are like and for returning swimmers to refresh their skills.
PRACTICE SCHEDULE
The first day of Waves practice is Monday, April 20. After school practices will run weekly Monday through Thursday by age group from 4:45pm to 7:30 pm. Morning practices will begin on May 26 and will run from 9:15 am to 12:30 pm. See the detailed practice schedule on our website.
MEETS/EVENTS SCHEDULE
This year the Waves’ competitive season opens with an Intrasquad Meet on April 24 at 5:30 pm. Season schedule:
- March 29th — Parent Info Meeting/Kickoff Party @ RW pool
- March 30th — Registration opens
- March 30th — Tune-Up Clinics start
- April 20th — Practices Start
- April 24th — Intrasquad Meet
- May 1st — First league meet against Westlake CC @ RW
- May 8th — Hills of Lakeway @ RW
- May 16th — RW @ Westwood CC
- May 29th — RW @ BCCC
- June 5th — ACC @ RW
- June 8th and 9th (Grand Prix Meets @ Westwood)
- TBD (Likely June 11 or 12th) — End of Season Awards Banquet @ RW pool
TEAM SUIT AND EQUIPMENT
SwimFreak Swim Shop is our Team Dealer for suits & other equipment. You may visit the SwimFreak store in person at 4032 S. Lamar Blvd., Ste. 500. SwimFreak will also be at the pool on the first day of practice, April 20, from 4-6pm for suit fittings and sales.
Fins will be required at practice for all age groups. Each swimmer should have his own pair, marked on top of fin with swimmer name. “Tritan” (carried by SwimFreak) is the Coach’s preference. Equipment will be available for purchase during our on site suit fitting or are available on our SwimFreak team store.
